WWE Smackdown 2011 DLC suggestions.

Okay. Seen the content for DLC 3.  Some new costumes and a WCW ring? To quote The Miz “Really?’

Let’s talk about potential ideas for DLC 4.

1) A Legend Archive.
This is probably more an idea of SD 2012 now, but I don’t see why this couldn’t be done for 2011. Over the years, The Smackdown franchise has had numerous Legends who haven’t made it to the latest incarnation. Lawler, Rhodes, The Million Dollar Man, Piper, Y2J era Jericho, Rick Rude, Eddie Guerrero, Mr Perfect, The Road Warriors, etc. It seems silly to not just carry them over. Obviously there are some that will be politically impossible to use (Hogan, Flair, Foley, etc.) but something along the lines of the roster crossover from Legends of Wrestlemania would be good.

2) Alternate commentary:

My dream here is to hire people who’ve commentated for WWE before to call matches, or maybe even guest commentators. Joey Styles, Paul Heyman, Jim Ross, Jesse Ventura, JBL, Rowdy Piper would all be awesome and a welcome change from Cole’s uninspired work. (It’s just embarrassing that he can’t seem to say the word ‘face-buster’)

3) Proper costume edit for in-game characters.

How is it easier to update costumes on the N64 game No Mercy than on a game 10 years later on a bit of tech 2 generations up? I don’t just want to be able to change the colour of HHH’s tights, I want to put the D-X logo on them, or put the Nexus armband on CM Punk. This is not much to ask. This is simply how it used to be.

Hope these suggestions are useful in some way.
